Rockin 4 Hunger 2012 – April 28, 2012

Proceeds from Rockin’ 4 Hunger 2012 will provide 46,000 meals for the people in southeast Michigan who face hunger issues everyday.

In addition, the 760 pounds of potatoes that were brought to the event were converted into 2,500 servings that were made available two days after the event to people that would have otherwise gone hungry. (How about that for a fast turnaround.)

Seriously, this is no small potatoes for the two great charities that receive funds from this event: Macomb Charitable Foundation and Forgotten Harvest. Every dollar counts, and every meal means even more. The demand for food pantry services is skyrocketing and funding to fight hunger is being slashed by state and federal agencies.

You have made an impact. In fact, you’ve helped make over 46,000 impacts.

Thank You!
